100 thumbs up on that one...it's the same reason I didn't buy the stainless & walnut version when Lipsey's brought it out.

I agree. I have no interest in a 1A. If this had been a 1S even with a 22" tube it would be much more attractive.

I have the KI-A and like it a lot. If I didn't have the stainless model, I would be after the blue. Mine is very accurate and a handy, fast handling mountain gun. Just my opinion, mind you....... :)

I like the idea of the No. 1A in 35 Whelen. To me the 1B is a little heavy and I didn't care for the balance of the 1S I had in 300 Win mag. I definately like the idea of the blue and wood better than stainless in the No 1. That is the great thing about Lipsey's and Talo, eventually they will market something that we all cannot live without. This just may be it for me. :lol:
