Howdy, Hope this question has not been hashed to death but my search-fu is weak. I recently dragged home a 7 1/2" Bisley gripped 44 mag Super Blackhawk that strangely has a fluted cyl. Ser # is 85-482xx. No box , no Paper, but gun is decent with a little minor finish wear and was bought to be a shooter and my first Bisley.
Question is, is this odd or common as dirt. Shoot away or treat it gently ?

NOPE NOT ODD they were just using SBH fluted cylinders until they could getthe engraved ones done correctly and in full production. I have Bisleys in 41MAG and 45COLT with fluted cylinders. Also have/had a Bisley 357 with a fluted cylinder....gave that one away now that I think about it....
ALL RUGER guns are made for shooting !!!
And so it goes...
