not a real problem however have ten(10) cartons. Goes bang every time, ejects but fails to feed enough to make me wish I'd brought WW 40 gr Dynapoints to the range this morning.

It won't go to waste as shoot a lot of .22LR in other firearms.

I accumulated over the years by buying a carton or two whenever I was cruising a big box stores sporting goods departments. I mean who can have too much .22LR ammunition?

Really enjoying the SR22 which shoots DynaPoints, Velocitors and CCI MiniMags just fine.

Best.

With a Ruger try feeding it CCI for 500 rounds, then try what didn't work again.

Who notes you are lucky if a Walther P22 cycles CCI Mini-mags reliably.

Wow, I've been quite lucky, and also note (based on it functioning with all ammo) the Bersa has proven to the best small DA .22 I've owned.

MY SR22 IS AT 3590 ROUNDS as of June 13, 2013 without a single malf. Have shot all kinds of ammo through it. NOTE that it will smooth up and function with alacrity [ swifter slide speed ] with those loads it did not care for when brand new.
My BERSA is also the best little 22 pistol I've ever had and is right at 20,000 rounds without a single malfunction to date. But my SR22 is a peach and weighs a lot less than does the BERSA.

The cheap Federal 36-grain copper-washed bulk stuff has been, in my experience, one of the most consistently reliable .22 ammos in a wide variety of firearms. Only CCI MiniMags have run as consistently well for me. And Dynapoints are almost as good.

My SR22 took a few hunder rounds of other ammo before it would eat the federals.

Unk,

don't pay attention to the folks above... that Federal stuff is junk... will never work right. I have a recycling center here that will take it and dispose of it for you... just send it all to me and I'll do the 'green thing' for you. I'll even pay shipping....

somebody had to do it... :)

Hi,

My 10/22 has become "reasonably" reliable over the years, and generally does fine w/ CCI Blazers, Remington Golden Bullets (not to be confused w/ their horrid Thunderbolt things!) or Wally's Federals. Ain't perfect, but if I wanted perfection, I'd start w/ MUCH different ammo, ya know?

Wasn't always so: it took close to a brick of CCI Mini-Mags when it was new just to get it to cycle AT ALL!
