I had a used but not abused .44 flattop follow me home today. It has a set of stag grips on it that fit perfectly. The serial number puts it at 1960. how do I find out if the grips are factory or not?

I agree that we need GOOD pictures, front AND back. The details of the medallion placement are critical so make sure you show that.

I have no way to post pictures, but it does not have medallions so I assume their not factory. they sure fit this revolver nice, and they have a beautiful yellow patina.

All factory stags had medallions. Still, a nice set of stags are not cheap,,,, especially if older & for the XR3 grip frame.
