Took a couple snaps that won't do it justice. I imagine it was a security company contract or something. Shoots great, feels great! I call it the worlds toughest .38Spl


A GP-100 in .38 Special is nuts. I'd have to think of it as a .38/44 HD. :D

It looks great! I like the barrel without the full underlug.

Some GPs have the little button in front of the site and others have the roll pin. Probably depends on which gun you have.


Now that I think about it, I wonder if some sites fit both GP and Redhawk.

I use different approaches on my handguns. I put a Hi-Viz fiber-optic front sight on my 5 inch GP100 and really like it. You have a choice of red, green, or white pipes to use on it, and I seem to prefer the red on that revolver. The pipes are a little larger in diameter than normal and it really shows up well on that revolver. Then on My MKII Target pistols I just have Testor's florescent orange paint on the front sight and like that. My Smith & Wesson Victory came with green fiber-optic front and rear sights, and they are OK but I feel at some point I will probably go to something else but not sure what it will be.
