Fitting marks/scratches on gp-100 grip frame?

The other day I took the grips off my ruger gp-100, and what I noticed was that there were many marks/scratches on the grip frame around where the trigger assembly slides into place in the frame. My question is whether this is common on gp-100's as far as the fitting of the parts from the factory, as mine is new.

IME- very. To neaten that up, they would have to run a bit of buff & polish on the inner face of the grip frame, maybe harden it a bit, and polish the retaining pin hole.

I DIY with a 6" swiss file and a dremel.
