Well, I had my first operational failure with my SR9. At the IDPA match this past weekend, I had a double feed.
Pressed the trigger, gun went bang. Pressed it again, no bang. Went for the tap and rack, and saw two rounds trying to occupy the same chamber. It cleared fine, but it was very disconcerting.
I took the slide off after I completed the stage and saw some gunk under the extractor claw, but nothing excessive. I cleaned it out as best I could, reassembled the gun, and shot the rest of the match with no problems.
I was using WWB, which is my normal IDPA ammo. I failed to check which mag was in the gun when I had the problem, as I was in the middle of the stage and lost track, because the stage had to required reloads. Extraction problem? Mag issue?
