First Gun of the Decade/Year MKII Target

I bought this 1986 KMK678 on Friday January 1st 2010
First Gun of the Decade/Year
Looks pretty good for being 24 years old
Came with the Eagle Rosewood Target Grips + Factory Panels
Added an Volquartzen EDM Extractor
Plan on Buying a Volquartez Trigger Kit this weekend & a few more magazines
Also note that it has a MKIII Bolt & has probobly been back to Ruger after 2003, The Recoil Spring Assembly is weak & I called Ruger in Arizona & there sending me a new one FREE ASAP, You gotta Love thier Customer Service Reps..
Should turn out to be a Super Fine Target Range Gun & an excelent companion to my "Super Stealth Plinker" Ruger 10/22

Nice MK II. I have two of the 678's, a MK I and a MK II, both in blue. The MK I is the favorite of all my MK's.

I have a early MK I and new MK III 678T, both blue. Really great guns. Much more accurate than me.

Had a 678 MK II in blue, don't know WHY I ever sold that gun. I like that stainless one.

Awesome gun! I own a ruger mark III target and absolutely love shooting it. Very accurate little guns. I recommend buying some CCI standard velocity target rounds for it. Thats What I shoot. I have a leupold 2x scope and can hold a 1 1/2" group at 25 yards.
