I've been waiting for my El Paso Saddlery Threepersons holster for almost 4 months.
It came in today. For my Vaquero Sheriffs Model 44 Special.

The grips are from Bearpaw, gold amboyna burl gunfighters.

And on top of all that, the 38/357 Dillon dies I've been waiting for since forever came in today too!

I have always appreciated the "minimalist" aspect of the Threepersons style.

That's exactly my take on it too. Not too much, not too little.

I had some trepidation about ordering a holster sight unseen, I ordered a custom Holster from another "well known" holster maker for a Custom 4" Blackhawk I had Andy Horvath make for me. I specifically listed the 4 inch barrel length several times in the holster order form, I even went so far as to call the holster maker and ask if he would make it for 4 inch and not the more common 4 5/8" barrel and was ASSURED he would make it for a 4 inch. He didn't. It came to me after a 3 month wait made for a 4 5/8" Flattop Blackhawk. I called them to ask why and was told by whomever answered that they wouldn't make a holster for a 4 inch and they then informed me that I must be mistaken about it. I have a 4 5/8" Flattop anyhow so the holster can still be used, but it's certainly not what I ordered.

El Paso however, made exactly what I asked for, without a single mistake. This is my second EPS holster, and not my last. I am done with other holster makers.

All that's lacking is a CCH revolver frame.

..and don't think I haven't been considering that very thing. Turnbull does some mighty fine work....
