I am in the process of acquiring my FFL. I'll be a home based dealer for the time being. I prefer older guns as opposed to the newer stuff flooding the market. I am looking to start trying to deal almost exclusively in older, desirable and oddity type Rugers. I realize this is a niche market but it's what I'm most interested in and familiar with. I live in a rural area in Western North Carolina so I'd be conducting most of my business online. Any input from anyone would be appreciated. Suggestions on where to start looking for such firearms or just someone to tell me such a venture is a waste of my time :D I'm willing to listen to anything. Thanks.

Barrett93,
I have family in Brevard, NC. Wondered how close you might be?

I'm in WNC too. Let us know where you are.

As for how & where to get older guns & such,,, it'll take a lot of looking in a lot of different places. Estates, auctions, pawn shops, are but a few to consider.

Don't limit yourself to just Rugers either.

I'm in Franklin, NC. Just about an hour west of Brevard. Wish I was closer to you in Lake Lure. I'd like to get together and discuss what you think about being an NRA Instructor
