Factory thumb hole 1138 info needed

Gents - I posted this up on RFC as well, but looking to get whatever info I can on the new to me rifle I just purchased. It's basically a blued 10/22 T model with the factory thumb hole stock and according to the Ruger website, it was the model 01138 and shipped in 1997. Blued heavy barrel with the brown laminated thumb hole stock and has Ruger etched into the right side of the butt stock. From the bit of info I can find it was a limited production, but not sure on the exact numbers or if it was done by Ruger of for one of their Distributors - appreciate any info, anyone can help me out with - Thanks Bill in MA

Found this doing a search.
Per RENE page #372 Model 01138 Just under 700 produced. Known examples fall within the 246-86224 to 246-86729 and the 248-47836 to 248-71627 range.
