Gil Hebard came through in Spades. He sent me a 1964 catalog of his guns. Size of a small paperback book. Full of interesting articles on shooting accurately. Something I've never seen before. Dang, I like the book for it's one-of-a-kind content. Going to be a great read.

He shows my gun on one of the pages. He also photocopied a picture of it that was used in the 1964 Gun Digest.

What a wonderful man. He definitely did me proud... :)

Back in the 1980s when I had a FFL, and was a small dealer working out of my house, like a lot of gun traders did. In order to get a gun from a distributor, you had to pay a premium over Dealer Price. One exception was Gil Hebart. He only charged dealer price, he never charged a premium. He is and always has been a "CLASS ACT".

Chet15,

To late for the article, but the gun has had the full upper fitting and tuning treatment that Gil offered back in the day. Even the trigger shoe is fitted with a adjustable trigger stop...
