Elvis Guns?

Hi all,
A friend of mine recently bought an old high standard shotgun from a private Elvis Collector. The gun comes with a certificate of authenticity and of course he's wondering what it's worth. To me, nothing but I'm wondering if this is worth more to Elvis collectors than gun collectors.

If anybody has any expertise in Elvis guns, please give me some info. Thanks.

Flatgate sez the #15 .44 flattop was Elvis' and is on display at a casino in Sparks, NV.

I saw Elvis' Colt Python at an auction and think it sold for about double what a normal Python was bringing at the time.

I'm thinking that it's something that would be worth more to Elvis collectors than gun collectors. While I love "The King", I can't see spending a premium for a Hi Standard shotgun.

Now if it was one of Elmers or Skeeters then I'd be all over it. :wink:

hey High standard made great guns. I have several High standard guns and they are great shooters. I am also a big Elvis fan.
