"Ed Head Death – Ed Head, who was a Gunsite instructor and operation manager for more than 20 years reportedly died on Friday, 16, 2022. Ed is a retired Border Patrol Agent who trained with and taught for Jeff Cooper. He teaches pistol, rifle, and shotgun and when he's not working at Gunsite he writes for the NRA and The Outdoor Channel.
Ed Head produced the monthly "Skills Check" column in the magazine for more than a decade, along with countless gun and gear reviews both in print and online."

He will live on in his videos and writings.
I had hoped to squeeze in a class or two with him. He'll surely be missed. He'd been struggling with advanced cancer.

Sad news, indeed. And as right now I am preparing to attend the funeral of a friend who belonged to my church. She and her late husband were members when we joined over thirty years ago. Painful reminder of just how fleeting life is.
