Too bad they didn't test for accuracy right after manufacture.

In 1988, my new 6-6/8" Gov't model MK II came with a test target: the shots were just one ragged hole.

Maybe they just test certain firearms.

I got out to the range today and was able to try out the Wrangler. Since I had received the test targets from Ruger I felt confident that I could use my 11x17 target with four aim points on it. Note that the target has a 1" grid. I used the same parameters as the first time I shot it - 20 yards, from a rest on a bench, and three different types of ammo (CCI Mini Mags, CCI Blazer, and Aguila standard velocity). It shot considerably better, although still not great. Seems to shoot somewhat to the right for my eyes.

Nothing wrong with a Camaro (depending on which one) but I'd rather have one or two than a Lamborghini. They don't do the same things and a 4-5/8" Wrangler with a notch rear sight is at it's limit for most people at 60 feet.
