Anybody know much about these? Trying to do some research for a friend and am way, way out of my league here.

No idea if these are worth nothing, a few hundred or a few thousand dollars. Waffen Frankonia Wuerzburg is on the barrel if I've copied it correctly.

Just like with SxS shotguns or double rifles, it could be worth very little or a whole lot.
The hell is in the details.
Need WAY more info.

20 x 20 x 225. Fair to good condition, been hunted so there's marks/usage wear on it but no evident abuse. Sorry, that's all I have. :(

There is so much price variation in these that you'll need to post some pictures. Too many variables in these to give an accurate $ assessment.
One of the biggest would be who is the manufacturer???

Waffen Frankonia Wuerzburg is the only name I saw on it. Will get pics if able but I don't own the gun and it's in the next town.

I did a little googling and I think WFW is like a German "Sears" that sold a lot of hunting equipment.

You might need to join one of the double barrel rifle forums and ask there

If there's no serious issues, like a cracked stock, loose rib, or iron sight pop-up action, it's worth a minimum of $2500.

The condition of the bores, barrels (dents, rust, etc), engraving (or not) and the actual action maker, can figure heavily into value.

For instance, if it's been fitted with claw scope mount bases, but doesn't have the fitted/special scope rings, it could cost well over $500 to have rings fitted.

There should be a plethora of information stamped into the action inside, the barrel bottoms & watertable flats - like a maker's mark code, the chambering specifics, the shot bbl chokes, and the code for it's DOM.
