Does this Box Go with this Single Six?

The title pretty much sums it up. I paid around 200 for this in the 80's and I thought that was to much. Any way, I didn't notice until today the box is marked wmr...Hmmm the gun has two cylinders and both are scribed with the last three of the sn. and the left side of the frame is marked only .22 cal. What do the experts say? I forgot to add there is no wax pen sn on the box.

All 6-1/2" Single-Sixes were shipped in a two-piece box with RSSM on the end. Most RSSM also had the 2nd line as shown in your pic with ".22 W.M.R. CALIBER REVOLVER".
But a rare printing of RSSM boxes had that second line listed out as "22 CALIBER REVOLVER", seen only between D501609 and 20-01605 (but not exclusively between these numbers).
No two-piece Single-Six boxes were ever originally printed with RSSMX etc, the "X" signifying convertible.
