Yup, that's me. I have used MyYahoo for 25 years or more. Only as a home page. It worked well for me. Multiple news feeds, sports, stock market, even a scrolling line general public stupidity all on one page. It was too easy. Open up my home page scan the market, scan news feeds from both sides and then some, see how the local teams are doing and even some of the weird stuff going on around the world.

Well, with barely any notice they killed it. Now I need to either find a similar type page, Or make a page full of links which is what it appears I need to do.

So I'm looking for suggestions on a possible all in one replacement or what others are doing. I can create a page full of links but I really liked being able to scan headlines from four or five sources in one place adn move on.

I'm not a fan of "one thing does it all" for the reason you discovered.

That said some modern browsers like Vivaldi and Firefox have your home page with pages full of links and places that you define and "toolbars" that you define over time. The good thing about this approach is even if a browser should disappear other chrome based browsers can import all of your saved places of interest.

There's a cost to it, but I subscribe to the Epoch Times. Usually only have time to browse the headlines in their morning and evening emails, but they do have an e-newspaper available. They're run by noncommunists originally from China, so you get a more than average number of China stories, but I've enjoyed the content. Of course, you'd have to go elsewhere for local news. Here' what the enewspaper looks like.

With most modern browsers you can just save links to the pages/websites you're interested in. Just put them in order of most important to you to least important and click on down the list to see what you want.

Having a page of links is not what i am looking for. I already have a full line of links across the top of my browser for pages I frequent.

This is roughly what I had and lost. A nice, concise page with the majority of what I wanted to know in the morning. I could hit that page get a feel of what was going on and then run through my links for forums, auctions etc and start my day.
