Dimpled ER head

Picked this up the other day.

Got it in last night, turns out the ER head is dimpled. I was planning on putting it on an OM Single Six, S/N 92198.

Is this where this should be? I'm not a purist or a preservationist by any means, but I'd like to know.

Said Single Six is going to be a .38 special...

Your ejector rod head should be the dimpled one for the Single-Six serial number 92198. The rod itself should be round. If the rod is half round with half of it being flat then it's a 357 Flattop ejector rod. I couldn't tell by the picture.
