Did someone here grab this case-hardened Vaquero? It sold cheap.

It just ended a few minutes ago. I was going to bid but I actually don't need another Vaquero. Sold for $474

I had one like that in the 90's. Accurate and a great gun. I suffered a brain injury that I didn't know about and sold it. I'd have jumped all over that one if I'd have known.

My father in law. Has brain bleeds and is acting goofy. He didn't realize any of it. He could have been taken advantage of easily.

I'm glad you survived your injury.

That does look like a good deal, but I net by the time you add inf fees, shipping, and a receiving fee at an FFL, it will be closer to $600. I get beat out at a lot of local online auctions, because people don't add in all the extras, and end up paying more than they expect.

Yep. That good deal isn't very good once you add in the shipping, taxes, and the new acceptance "fee" that Gunbroker charges per transaction.
Then you pay your FFL to accept it and then do the background check and pay the state and/or federal fees.

Thank you and I'm sorry about your father in law. I technically didn't have a brain injury, I was referring to how stupid I was to sell it. Must have injured my brain somehow to have made that decision. It was a great gun. Sometimes my humor meter is broken.

Oh. Ok. I'm glad it wasn't a real brain injury. That would have been awful. Whew!

Yes we all have regrets. Part of life.

That WAS a pretty good price… luckily the last thing I need is another .45C Blackhawk or Vaquero, especially with a long barrel. Next on my list is a Bisley 3.75" in .45ACP, and a 3.75" Super Blackhawk in .44. Those certainly aren't selling for under $500.
