Does anyone have any detailed pictures of the Jerred engraved early Single Sixes, specifically the style similar to serial number 100087? I have an old custom 44 flat top that I would like to have engraved in a similar pattern/design. The best picture I could find is from the American Rifleman article but was hoping to find something a little better to show the craftsman doing the carving on it.

Here's the image from the magazine.

Thanks,
Troy

We will expect pictures of the finished product.

It's been at the same smith for almost three years and he hasn't started on putting it together yet, although he advised its getting closer to the top of the pile. I have the engraver lined up and based on the pictures I received from Mike he's confident he can get a similar look. I just need the smith to get some fitting done before the parts go to the engraver. It will be a 45 Colt 4 5/8 flattop with its done.
