Correct Box For RST6?

Recently purchased a RST6, s/n 298434 which places it at 1965. This s/n places it higher than the known range (285215 to 296943) for this variation. It has the 1/8" s/n numbers & Inc. in the receiver address. What is the correct box for it? I think it's a two-piece box, but which one? Thanks!

From the beginning of the RST6 production until Ruger switched to the red & white hinged new model boxes in 1973, there was only one box...the red and white 2-piece box.

Shameless plug...there happens to be a really neat one on Ebay right now with the scarce white shipper.

Thanks for the info! I actually have two of these boxes already. However, no shipper for either one of them.

Yes, I saw your ebay auction for the white shipper box & red box. There appears to be a s/n (?) number on the red box (10-01201). Is that true?

Yes, there is a number on the box, there is no number on the shipper.
