When digging around in the hanger, packing up for the spring grizzly bear hunting trip that I'm leaving on later this week, or early next week. I sat down and was reading a 1959 / copyright 1960 "Hand Gun Book". I open the book and one first page is what I be-leave to be a Ruger Flat Gate RSSE, and yes the "Spanish" versions??? with Ivory grips!!!

Well, that just made my day...Ill post a Photos soon....I have a "So Called" friend in in Utah that happens to have one of these's....He let me see and hold it.....

This book is on it's way to him in the AM.....that's the price I pay for knowing him!............LOL..........Enjoy!

I don't believe that to be one of the Single-Sixes engraved for the factory though, so not an RSSE, per se.
In fact, I think that Single-Six was engraved by the same individual who did the S&W right above it. Don't remember the engraver name though.
