I have an extra Mk II so I had the idea of converting it to a 22/45. I acquired a complete 22/45 grip frame with all the internal bits and the mainspring housing thing.

Any threads here on doing the conversion?

Just swap uppers.

It may be tight requiring some adjustments to the front "hook."

Should be easy. I've done it a bunch of times.

If you don't have plans for it I'd be interested in the standard frame.

It's fairly loose. How would you recommend adjusting things? Big hammer and a punch?

be very careful, cutting up aluminum cans to make SMALL pieces of shim stock, you can and will cut your self, but it does work, we always used matchbook covers or old business card, lasts till the next time you take the gun apart to clean, then "repeat" ;)
