Colt 38 officers model

I have a colt 38 officers model with a 7.5 inch barrel has a bunch of surface rust is this gun worth anything it has dancing colt grips should i have it re blued or just clean it good one of the patent dates is 1884 -1900-1905

Just clean it good is what I would do.

More often than not, refinishing removes collector value. Collectors want original guns.
