Up for sale is a nice, 105 year old Colt 1911.

Serial number dates it to 1918

Overall in a good condition. I think the photos do it justice. I believe it was refinished at some point

Its missing the grips, but does have the grip screws. I'm not an expert on WWI era 1911's, but believe this is the incorrect MSH and grips safety.

I'd like to get $1800, shipped.... Now $1200.. sorry, I was way off on this one.

Not an expert either, but the main spring housing is from an later A1 version. Should be flat until the A1 came out. Reblue looks amateurish with a lot of pitting under it? Still a piece of history over 100 years old.

Def been sanded or on a polishing wheel. See the soft edges and top of Property Stamp. Its rough and not due to hard use. Might be a good project and shoot it like it was designed.

Value is what someone will pay for it.
