I have several SP-101 manuals. I believe the "Special Instructions Regarding" Manuals to be 'Rare' since they were limited in use.

Special Instructions Regarding:
Ruger SPNY (New York Police DAO), KWNY/ 11-89
Ruger SP101 .22 Caliber Long Rifle, KW/2-90

"Regular" manuals:
KW/11-88, R2: Mentions only .38 special in the ammunition section.
KW/ 9-90, R3: Mentions both .38 special and 9mm and has a special warning about using ONLY 125 gr. bullets in the .357 mag chambering. (I believe this would be the correct manual for the "125 gr. only" .357 mags).

KW/10-92, R5 Mentions .38 spl., 357 mag (with special notes about the '125 gr. only marked guns), 9mm, .22 LR, and .32 H&R mag.

KW/6-94, R6 Adds a section a DAO operation. The ammunition section lists the same calibers as R5.

KW/2-06 C, R14 Lists all the calibers on the front as ".357, .38 Special, 9mm, .22 & .32". (This appears to be pre- .327 Fed. Mag.) (Not in photo).

KW/3-09, R17 Lists all the calibers on the front including .327 Federal Magnum.

I should add that I am assuming  that the code on the bottom right of each manual lists:
the gun series / month - year, Revision number.
So that the last manual listed above is for:
Stainless SP101 / March - 2009, Revision 17 or KW/3-09, R17.

These are the manuals that I have. I'm sure there are others, if the "R" stands for Revision number.

Hope this helps,
Terry T

Terry,
My two cents, all looks good, on the "KW/2-06 C, R14" I believe this could of been one that Ruger could of sent out if you requested an instructional manual. As it kind of fits in with most calibers. There seem to be a few of them around, just my thought on it.
Did all come with Purchasers Record Card, Blue NRA Card, and the old model conversion card? Also most earlier came in a plastic bag with the red eagles on it, this would be in the earlier Black and Yellow hinged box?? Your thoughts?
