I've always been partial to walnut as a grip material, especially when the man who is CLC Custom grips gets finished with them. For those of you all who share my choice of walnut, check out the grip blanks shown on Cary's website. He has some BEAUTIFUL claro walnut blanks shown.

I'm with you Bob on walnut and Carys expertise. I recently received claro walnut grips from blank #CW21 and they are indeed BEAUTIFUL.

It was very difficult not to pick the Claro Walnut for my Single Six, but I had in mind a lighter golden color. My first choice would have been spalted maple, but there wasn't any to be had large enough for a Bisley grip frame.

Man some of that walnut it unbelievable though....
