Canada to Destroy Thousands of Classic Browning Hi-Power Pistols

Surprisingly, this doesn't bother me at all! Thirty years ago I was able to purchase a Canadian military Hi-Power. When received, I was very disappointed to find it was completely shot out. Even the locking grooves in the slide were peened over! I consider myself lucky to have unloaded it for $200.

A relative of mine, that is still in the service, told me that these old guns are nearly all extremely high round count, worn out weapons. If mine was that bad thirty years ago, I can only imagine how bad they might be now!
