Can you name these TV series stars and the characters and shows they played in?

Sorry, only know two:

James Garner ~ Maverick

John Russell ~ The Lawman

The man standing to Garner's right has a hammer spur modified for fanning.

'Bout as far as I can go..........

Bob Wright

Thumb on the hammer, finger on the trigger; perfect style.

Even Matt Dillon has the same hold after shooting the bad guy in the opening shot. Thumb on hammer ready to nail the guy if he even twitches.

The guy second from the right is the only one who I could not remember watching as I was growing up. I know who he is now and still can't remember ever seeing the show.

By the way I finally saw James Garner in an episode of Maverick today.

Come on, some of you old guys out there.

Peter Brown, second from left.
Started with John Russell in the Lawman series, alsoone of the stars of the Laredo series.
I recognize the others but can't recall their names.

Only one I know is James Garner. Is the guy at far right Wyatt Earp? I don't remember who played him or anything about the show, but for some reason I can sing the theme song.

Wyatt Earp, Wyatt Earp
Brave, courageous and bold,
Long live his fame, and long live his glory
And long may his story be told!

I can't play because I wanted to see who played X, a show I never remember watching, and the pic came up with the names.

I did recognize John Russel. He played the crooked sheriff in Pale Rider, 1985.

EDIT: Dang, JFB. Why did you ruin it for everyone else?

So that wasn't Wyatt Earp.

I peeked. I'd have never gotten any more of them. But I did think the guy on the right (Russel) looked familiar. Now I know why! Thanks!

Thank you 'jfb' knew them all, just could not remember their names watched them all the time........
then came Bonanza and we got an RCA color TV !!!
darn there was sure a LOT of westerns back then Range Rider, Wild Bill Hickok and Andy Devine was on there, "Hey Wild Bill ,wait for me " Roy Rogers and his sidekick Patrick Alowhishus Brady and his jeep 'NellyBell"......and on and on

Shot our first Ruger, a tri color lightweight .22, late 1957 or maybe it was 1958, at the Boy Scout summer camp, Camp Merz on Lake Chatauqua..........

As a kid, I enjoyed most of the western TV shows but the guys in that photograph mostly starred in shows I did not particularly care for except for Sugerfoot and Maverick (Garner, not Kelly). "Maverick" shows that the actor, rather than the writers can sometimes make the difference.

My favorites were Gun Smoke, Garner's Maverick, Paladin, Johnny Yuma, Wyatt Earp, and Bat Masterson.

My radio favorites were Roy Rogers, Gene Autry, Bobby Benson, Cisco, and Hashknife Hartly.

Trivia: As a child, I once sat in Paladin's lap and, at another time and place, head butted Gene Autry.

The name of the show was Colt 45. Don't recall the actor's name either.
