I obtained this sight with a bunch of stuff I bought at a yard sale. Looks to me like a Ruger sight because the blade and the back look the same as a Blackhawk sight. This sight has a larger than 3/8" normal dovetail - the dovetail cut on this one measures .472"X 537" and the sight body itself is .700" wide. I'm thinking its for a rifle? Anybody know what it is for? Thx.

Slim, I stand corrected but it is sure not for a Blackhawk,
maybe for one of the .22 Marks? Doesn't look like anything
I've ever seen on any rifle Ruger makes either but I could
well be wrong again. :D

Redington Slim, It looks like an adjustable sight for a 1911 or clone. I have worked on .45's that had similiar sights installed. Not sure who the manufacturer would be!.......................Dick

I've encountered some "odd" rear sights over the years. It sure looks "Ruger Like"......
