Early in my adult life I was told I look like Bob Seger.
Later in life I was told that I looked and sounded like Burl Ives. Two (of many) Funny stories: My band was playing a wedding and this kid walks up calling me Mr. Ives and asked me to sing Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer. We all cracked up.
About a year later we were playing in a bar and a guy walked up and introduced himself saying that he was in the middle of writing a book about all the famous people he had met. He asked me if he could get my picture and a short interview during my break. At break he called me over, bought me a drink and began addressing me as Burl Ives. I kept telling him that I am not Burl and showed him my Drivers License. Be bugged me and the rest of the band the remainder of the night, thinking I was really Burl Ives.
IMHO I don't look like either of the above people.

Lots of people that look like me make extra money because of who our doppelgänger is. Especially between Thanksgiving and Christmas.
