When I first moved to Greenville 44 years ago I started back to college and in one of my first classes a guy in the class told me I looked exactly like his cousin. Then he explained that his cousin was a real SOB and somebody was going to shoot him one day. Maybe that is why I carry.
Everybody tells me I look exactly like my brother… but then we are mirror image twins

There have been a few times , where I was told I look like hell.
When I was in my 20s I was told I was told I looked like Jeb McGruder. ( Watergate fame).
My oldest son apparently looked a lot like the late night TV show host Jimmy Kimmel, so much so that a few times the person refuses to believe him when he says he is not Jimmy Kimmel. So on occasion he just smiles and willingly signs an autograph as Jimmy Kimmel. He has ended up posing in many selfie photos to admiring fans. After he shaved off his beard these incidents seemed to stop so he has remained clean shaven since then just to avoid the hassle.

There was a lookalike legally changed his name to richard m dixon, and made a living doing appearances, but watergate drowned that gig so he got into selling used cars.
Years back, i started getting real bad attitudes from strangers, which vanished when they got me to talking. Seems the next town over had a new cop, and NOBODY liked him, but we dident move or sound the same. An opportunity came up and i moved away, but i still got The Look when i went back to visit my brother, unless we were together, then EVERYBODY knew He wouldnt be seen with a cop, so they remembered I was me and not him.

I have often observed similar reactions to my shatner impersonations. Most curious indeed. I had concluded that it must mean i am doing it correctly.

I see a hint of him but don't think I would have thought of it if the didn't mention it and you don't look that old. Guessing here but I think there are a large amount of 60 plus members here, me included.
I think you look more like Benjamin Franklin than William Shatner, but not many folks would believe that Franklin is still alive. Maybe some Kamala supporters, but that's about it.
