Mine timed perfectly in my blued .17. Then I bought a stainless Hunter and it fits it fine also. They do take some stoning to make them fit up and be smooth but it's not a big job. The M2 is a lot of fun and a whole lot cheaper to shoot...

Sorry I guess I wasn't quite clear. I had a .17 ss in blue. I bought the blued M2 cylinder from Brownells or Midway. In order to use them in your gun they may need to have a few thousands of metal removed as they are usually a little long. Thats where the stoning comes in. You could use a whetstone but I used an India stone then finished up with a hard Arkansas. You may not have to do anything it might fit.....

Then I bought a stainless steel hunter in .17. NOT the convertible. The M2 cylinder happens to fit it also. Of course it's blued but truthfully it looks good in the stainless gun.

I still want a stainless M2 cylinder so I'm on the hunt for any stainless cylinder that I will bore, sleeve and rechamber to M2.

I did not have any timing issues in either gun.

Thanks for the info.
Mine definitely needs a spring kit to lighten the trigger.

I may even scope it or a red dot.
I don't need a mach ii cylinder just thought it would be nice to have.
