I really like this one. I picked one up the other day like the first one you posted, but with this color of flowers on it. If you've got any other pics of different ones, I'd love to see them. I AM NO GARDENER, but I've got a little place made of sandstone for flowers on the front of the house by the porch I'm going to make a cactus/rock garden in. Gonna put wild ones from where I grew up in Kansas, here, and maybe a few from out your way

The barrel cactus I see blooming on some of our trips is almost identical, 'cept the blossoms seem to have just a touch more red. And, IF it's been a more moist year than usual, the thorns sometimes take on a brighter yellowish tint than normal (in dry years they can be very dark.) Minor stuff, though, so I'm gonna say "dem's the ones!"
