I have an Old Model BH, .357, Ser.# 31-36xxx. (1972) 1 of 735 issued with the MR-3DB Dragoon frame. When I acquired it some 30+years ago, the original frame was changed to an XR3-RED, and the entire gun was Armalloy coated a flat gray or silver. I am now restoring as much as possible, and keeping it. I need a little help in locating a brass MR-3DB. Maybe brass ejection rod and cylinder pin, also. Any and all suggestions appreciated, thank you.

Place a WTB ad here in the classifieds & you may get one. Expect to pay around $300 for one.
And don't forget the wider trigger that was used with those g/f's.

Ruger never produced a brass ERH or cylinder base pin. And I don't recall seeing any brass cylinder base pins out of brass except for non-use display examples. Brass is soft enough to potentially wear & cause alignment issues under normal use.

The brass g/fed guns that letter as such in that caliber are rare & desirable. Too bad it was coated with Armalloy.
