I replaced the rear sight on my Redhawk with a Bowen Rough Country sight. The Bowen sight looks beefy and has nice size adjustment screws. It dropped right in and was and easy install. I recommend them.

Nice, I'm getting one for my GP100 when I get it at the end of the month.

Ya see the little hole behind the elavation screw ??

There`s a allen screw in it that locks the sight solid ,no wiggle/wobble.

Good lookin' but how is it better than the stock sights on a Ruger with adjustables? Rod

A machined blade instead of a small piece of stamped steel with rough edges (reduces glare and sharpens the sight picture, something anyone over 50 can appreciate).

Larger screws for the adjustments (no jewelry screwdriver needed in the range bag).

Positive locking windage adjustment screws instead of relying on a tiny spring to keep your sight blade in place.

More rugged construction.

Almost forgot!
Looks great Arisin' Wind.
I like the clear, bold white outline, that's another improvement over stock.
I hope to get a set soon. Now that I've seen yours, I'm definitely getting the white outline. Maybe a FO front as well. I'll never scope my GP, but my eyes do need a little help.
Thanks for the pic's.

The Bowen are alot better than the factory click rear sights. I had a bad rear sight on a NM blackhawk. The gun would shoot 12" with every adjustment. I installed a Bowen and I'm hitting where I should with my "pet Load". The nice thing about the Bowen is that you can set the elevation for another pet load, if needed. The rough country sights are just that. I have em on almost all my pistols. I put a Bowen on a guys GP100 and had to put a shorter front sight on. bhk

I have his target rear sight on all my BH's, old, new and custom. As said they do improve the sight picture for us old guys...
