Blued Super Redhawk????

A friend of mine says that he has a 7-1/2" barreled Super Redhawk in blue. I thought ALL SRH's were stainless steel? Were any blued ones manufactured?

Hi,

There was the "Target Gray" finish for a while. Kinda charcoal color in some light. Dunno about actual blue, though.

I asked him if it was Redhawk or Super Redhawk.He specifically stated Super.I've never heard of a blued srh.He mentioned how beautiful the bluing is.I think I'll believe it when I see it.

Perhaps a Super Blackhawk is what your friend holds? More than once I've had acquaintances mix the terminology which is very important to Rugeraddicts but easily confused amongst those less familiar. And some of the Supers do indeed have beautiful blue.

Redhawks, not Super Redhawks. Super REdhawks have never been offered in anything but stainless steel, the only variation being Target Gray.
