Please excuse my aging brain: Should it be possible to remove the trigger spring from the frame without disassembling the mainspring/strut and grip frame?

I can't remember if I'm even supposed to be able to do it. Last time I did take it all apart, but I think I had to do that to get the strut/spring reassembled, not due to the trigger spring.

yessir, as the other way is a real 'trick' and you need 3 hands with 6 fingers on each hand ( which we usually accomplish,somehow........)

just "unhook" the legs and drive out the pivot pin..............

Either way, we don't care for it...... 8)
