Can someone list the various grip frame configurations for Blackhawk revolvers?

Do all New Model Blackhawks have the same grip frame? If not, which guns get which grip frames?

It's kinda confusing when shopping for grips.

Thanks. :)

This is the simplest way I can think of for you to get the right grips for your gun. Basically there are only three sizes of Rugers plow handle grips. Take a look at the drawing below. Simply draw a three inch square on a piece of paper and put one of your grips in it and it will show you what you have.

The only thing you need to be careful of is on the XR3. In 2005 Ruger brought back a steel copy of the old XR3 grip frame. This is on the "New Vaqueros and the new flat tops.

The old XR3 grips and the new XR3 grips will not interchange because of the locater pin placement.

The XR3-RED is on the Blackhawks, Single Six, Vaquero and Old Army.
