Blackhawk date of manufacture

I have a blackhawk 357 with 6 1/2 inch barrel. Serial number is 32-61xxx

Ruger website says 2018, no way this shipped in 2018 as it doesn't have the warning label stamped on the barrel. Can anyone help?

And,, sometimes the Ruger factory site is not as accurate as it should be. Asking here,,, we can reference the RENE Guide,, which is much more accurate.

Thanks for the link. I looked up my Ruger guns, but for the older 1966 Ruger Blackhawk, you have to go to another webpage to look up the older models. That page just lists serial numbers, and gives date ranges: https://www.ruger.com/service/productHistory/RE-Bhawk357.html

Yes, you may have to view different pages, depending on New Model or Old Model, or even other variations, including different calibers.

A feller may need to enter a serial number, and when that doesn't pan out, use the pull downs for all the different models and variations.

For specifics you need to pay Ruger for the verification letter.

This is NOT the case with newer Ruger model look ups. For these newer model(post 1973), go to https://ruger.com/dataProcess/serialHistory/. There you just enter in the serial number, and it gives you info on when it was made and the model number as well.

Yes, but if you want the date shipped (MM/DD/YYYY) and possibly which distributor, the letter is needed.
