Many of you will recognize this from the auction that featured Rugers from the Bill Lett collection. This 44 is a Type 3, but does not have the sight adjustment mark on the rear sight. The 44 appears unfired and has a great set of figured grips. It is a wonderful addtion to my collection of Blackhawk 44 Magnums :D .

Doc, if you get a ship date on that one I'd like to know on that. 7777 is the earliest Type 3 known by about 900 guns. And since it doesn't have the timing mark on the rear sight adjustment screw, I'll bet it was shipped late.

Chet15...I will get the shipping date and will let you know what it is.

Thanks
7777 would also seem to be kind of a milestone number that may have been put back by WBR....maybe the reason it has those late parts
(like #5000 Single-Six which is in the possession of a very happy WMG!).
