Since you know Rugers-All I can say is look for good cleaning habits after past use. On black powder guns it will show both ways. Good and bad.
Picked up my new to me, a blued Ruger old Army serial # 145-69694 with warning today. It appears to be unfired. A cylinder drag line is evident. No box or papers or nipple tool. My 45 Colt cylinder drops in perfectly. Now to find a box etc. Without running to Rene what era is this?
Call Ruger for a manual- Also they are probably the cheapest on a nipple wrench.
