"Another one... 20515.

I guess that one's mine if all goes well with the amendment to my pistol permit (within the next month or so). BKH47 if I got the code correctly :)

Five more...
17212
22198
22602
26150
and the fifth gun is 11185 which would seem to be pretty early for a 7-1/2", but this gun does have a 7-1/2" non-INC barrel on it... perhaps it went back to the factory and was reshipped like a couple other early .44 flattops that are known like that.

Could that be determined by a "letter" from Ruger?

Is the BKH-47 model a 7 1/2" Flattop Blackhawk only or are the 6 1/2" models the same model number.

BKH4 = Original 6-1/2" .44 Flattop Blackhawk before the 7-1/2" guns came out requiring the two different numbers.

BKH46 = 6-1/2" .44 Flattop Blackhawk.

BKH47 = 7-1/2" .44 Flattop Blackhawk.

BKH40 = 10" .44 Flattop Blackhawk.

Maybe.
By the time the 7-1/2" was offered, it should definitely letter as BKH-47.
So if it just letters as ".44 Blackhawk" or |BKH-4" I would have a lot of doubts... and no letter, well... no way to prove it.

One that should probably be added to the list so that people are aware of it. This gun is a rebarrel, yes it is 7-1/2" but has a Super Blackhawk logo barrel with INC. in the address. This puts the barrel manufacture of somewhere between 1969 and 1977.

Don't need somebody buying it because it is a "rare 7-1/2" flattop"!!
And it is a reblue besides.

Yep,, other forums where you can sneakily buy good Rugers from the unsuspecting! :D

I know of a minty, correctly boxed with papers OM Single-Six, convertible that if I can get to the guy,, will set me back a whopping $450.00.
