My brother has a Bisley 44 magnum from the first run with a fluted cylinder and was wanting to know if it is worth more to a collector because of the fluted cylinder.

In the Bisley models, fluted cylinders are kind of rare. As you know, most came with unfluted, roll-marked cylinders. For this reason, I think the fluted ones are desirable to collectors and even some shooters, perhaps. As for value, I think there might be a small premium on the fluted ones. It's not a lot, but there might be someone looking specifically for flutes and willing to pay a bit extra.
