What is a great and appropriate birthday gift from a man to a lady friend without insinuating any 2nd thought? We used to be roommate but she moved out but we are still friends. She invited me to her birthday, I was just wondering what will be a great and appropriate gift to her. FYI: No funny business has never occurred between us and I respect her and she has a lot of dignity.

seeing how you were roomates I'm sure you probably know lots of her likes and dislikes. Get her something that shows you've been listening and paying attention all that time

Welcome to the Forum!
I have been able to keep any lady friend as a friend by thinking of them,, their likes,,, & buying something that fits their personality.
Now,, you asked this on a gun forum,, so maybe something firearm related that appeals to a lady?

A RugerForum birthday card? Netflix gift subscription? It really depends on the dynamic between the two of you, and what she likes.

Maybe some Music? CD or something. DVD? Video? You should maybe know what kind of stuff she likes since you were room mates at one time but also, don't be afraid to give her something that You like to expand her horizons.

Nothing real personal in those sorts of things as long as its not love ballads or porn!

If you lived with her you know her, and I have had only one wife for 25 years, but (and I know it is old and worn), flowers and chocolates usually do work. It is just knowing what flowers and what chocolates.

Does she drink wine? Can't go wrong with a nice bottle of wine - simple, thoughtful, can pick right price range, and is unassuming.

Edit - I just realized this is in the Revolver section and not The Lounge - get her a nice holster from Simply Rugged!

We've done this for NWTF and RMEF Banquets==a BIG hit as a raffle prize for the ladies.

Make up a basket with some flowers, ribbons, etc
Include:
Certificate for pedicure & manicure (Maybe a facial)=maybe a
full spa treatment
Some chocolates
Bath oils
her favorite perfume
Wine and 2 glasses
A "chick" flick
some scented candles

You can tailor this to her tastes and your budget.

But we all know there is something goin on with a foot massage, we act like there isn't, but there is.

Not GIVE her foot massage, pay for SOMEONE ELSE to do it.
