As much as a nightmare as it would be, I would like to see Ruger go dealer direct, and allow customers to contact Ruger directly if the dealer engaged in price gouging. Then Ruger could put that dealer on a "do not sell to" list. That dealer would then have to go on the open market to buy Ruger firearms. It might take a lot of work, but would sure cut down on the over pricing that we are experiencing.

Guys, a dealer can ask any amount he wishes. There is nothing immoral about that, only a few stupid people that will pay double M.S.R.P. This will always be the case, just as there are people who pay $1 apiece for primers.

Well lets see. Yep one of the ugliest leverguns ever made. Plywood stock, comically large loop, undesireable optics mountig rail with built in iron sights, and a pistol grip too boot.

Yep have to agree with that.
The way a lever gun should look.

And that's just the config I want! My 1894 in 44 Mag is set up almost the same way.

The 1913 rail is perfect, and allows the user to put whatever optics they'd like on it. Also allows me to mount my 3Bucc brass catcher.

I love the look of the laminated stock, and it's stands up to weather and abuse better than the old stocks. And the loop is finally big enough to fit my hand, I hated the old loops. It's like they were meant for children sized hands.

I think it's stellar, just need a 30-30 version, and I'll be right in line with my money.
