My father and I are in the market to purchase the P95. After handling the gun at Cabelas on Sunday, Love at first hold. This gun felt so nice and the balance the gun had in my hand was great.
My question is where is the best place to purchase this gun around the Allentown area. I live in Hellertown (15 min from Dorney Park). On Saturday, my father and I will be going to Seneca Arms in Green Lane, but I am always looking for a good gun shop.

Another question, the trigger pull on this gun is long, what can you do to shorten the pull? And even though the gun is a little big for CCing, what do you think about the desantis cozy partner IWB?

Thanks Jason

To be honest Jason, I've frequented almost every gunshop in your (my) area, and usually buy online or from private parties and have them shipped in to Jake's Gunshop in Nazareth. The new guns I've bought in the last 4 years or so, have been from Cabelas during their $100 or $150 off sales. You should easily be able to get a P95 shipped in for about $300, probably from right here on the forum, and then pay the $20 transfer fee, and NO TAX, and be out the door for about $320.

The trigger pull is what it is, live with it or get a different gun, unfortunately.

If you want more info, PM me and we can talk on the phone.

I know a guy in Harrisburg that specializes in Rugers, prices are much better than Cabelas or gander or bass pro. Local guy operating his own shop. It's called 3R Gun Shop on Lamb's Gap Rd. can get more info if anyone wants it.

You''ll pay more for a used one at Cabela's than what they cost new. The only place as bad as them is Gander Mtn.

I am definately interested in more info!

I did a search for 3R gun shop and it surfaces in Frederick Maryland. Also a search for Lamb's Gap Road in Harrisburg and no such hit came up. Are you certain about the name and location of this Ruger spacialist?

Jason,
I have been to almost every shop in our area. I have bought from John at Seneca Arms, but I think your best bet might be Wellington's in Souderton, Pa. I have bought several from him and always the best price. I know he is cash only and call before as he is a one man show. I have also done well with Kieffers up in Walnutport.

Good Luck

It's not really Harrisburg, it's on the west shore off of route 944 west (wertzville exit) about a mile or so it crosses Wertzville Rd
