Is there a consensus on the best parts, kit, or gunsmith for a trigger job on a Mark II? I'm getting to the point on competition shooting mine to where I think a better trigger would help.

I'm looking for the proverbial light, crisp, breaks-like-a-glass-rod, no-conscious-thought-required trigger.

I'd prefer a gunsmith do the job.

I have a fella that droped a Volquartsen trigger, sear and extractor into all 5 of of my Mark II's for me.

I use the old style sears ( 2 left in the stockpile) that allow for a sub-two pound pull...the newer style will be about 2-1/2 pounds...

That's it...

+1 on the Volquartsen kit. Most gunsmiths familiar with the MKII pistols should be able to install pretty easily. I have installed several myself with good results, although some patience is required.
