Best grips for a Redhawk that work with speed loaders?

I have a Ruger Redhawk, 44 mag, with the factory wood grips and when I went to load it with a speed loader the loader did not clear the grips. What are some good grips that will allow a speed loader to clear? I like Hogue's on Smiths but haven't tried them on a Redhawk.

I have a set of Nils Griffe wood grips that work with my Safariland speedloaders.
Not cheap by any means but they do soak up the recoil of top end 44mag loads.

I have used two 4" GP100s, and Redhawks chambered in 357 Magnum, 41 Magnum, 44 Magnum, and 45 Colt, for USPSA competition (still have both GPs, and the 7.5" 357 and 5.5" 44).
I load(ed) them all with HKS speedloaders.

All my revolvers wear Pachmayr Decelerators. They wear them because I shoot my guns best with them wearing Decelerators (AND they allow my use of those HKS).

That is odd, I routinely use a speedloader with the factory wood grips on my 44 magnum Redhawk Hunter and it clears well without any issue.

I'm not using the HKS style loaders. Not sure who made them but they release the cartridges upon impact with the ejector on the cylinder. They seem to have a little larger diameter than HKS.

Just carve and sand the wood grips down so they work and re-finish. Get an extra set if you want to keep your gun factory. :D

Pachmayr Presentations are THE grip I prefer for the Redhawks I actually shoot. The factory woods look good but for utility and speedloader use the Presentations are excellent.

I second the presentation on the redhawk. heck if they made the exact same size for the security I would get them. they seem to be the perfect grip for the double actions. they seem big but the performance is outstanding.
